Focus, Focus, Focus!

It’s been a good day already.  I’ve been really trying to focus on my businesses over the past week or so and I made a decision today, with the encouragement of DivaTalkRadio owner, @kellyclaypool during a phone conversation.  I am going to offer a class via email for entrepreneurs and small business owners that teaches them how to market their endeavors through social media.  I plan to launch this in the two weeks or so.  If you would like to be notified when the class will be available, please sign up for my newsletter in the sidebar.  I will only be opening up this opportunity to the first 25 people who sign up, for now at least.  Thanks Kelly, for your encouragement, and for the encouragement of the Moms Masterminds group!

I’m also pleased to say that I’ve received my first notice that I’m earning money through the Amazon affiliate program–not enough for a payout yet, but soon!  :o)   If you shop at Amazon, please consider starting your search in my sidebar so I can earn some working capital to fund my online business endeavors.  It’s much appreciated!

I’m also going to be doing a paid blogging gig about 3 times per week.  More details on that soon!

Has your day been going as well as mine?  What have you accomplished today?  What goals do you have for promoting your small business?

Mid-Michigan Mom Masterminds Meetup

What a fun and profitable time we had in Lansing last week!  It was so good to finally meet some online friends in person!  We had a nice lunch and talked about ideas for each others’ businesses and ways that we can make them more successful.  Here’s a picture of our group:

Top row: Mary Lutz, Kim Smith, Kelly McCausey, Tishia Lee; Bottom row: Trisha Stefanic, Crissy Herron; Missing: Laurie Ayers

It was fun to brainstorm ideas and give suggestions.  Everyone seemed to really get along, too.  A little about our group…

Mary Lutz is a Virtual Assistant, as well as a blogger and ghost-writer.  Mary brought her daughter, Trisha, who is a mom of two small children and would like to work from home, but hasn’t quite found her niche yet.  I think the group really helped her work through some ideas, which was good.

The amazingly talkented Kelly McCausey is just a wealth of knowledge and has really been an inspiration to myself, as well as countless other work at home moms throughout the years!  She is the founder of WAHM Talk Radio and the network of sites.  I have been studying Kelly’s materials for over a year and listening to her podcasts and have learned a lot from her.  She is also the co-owner of Mom Masterminds, which is an online community of Work At Home Moms who help each other succeed in business.  It’s am amazing group of women and I highly recommend it for any woman who is in business for herself or would like to find a way to work from home.  There’s even a 7-day free, no-risk trial!

Tishia Lee is also a Virtual Assistant, as well as Kelly’s Affiliate Manager.  She specializes in transcription services.  I’ve heard GREAT things about Tishia’s abilities as a VA!

Crissy Herron is the owner of Indie Biz Chicks and her specialty is helping independent crafters learn to market themselves. She also has a paid Membership Area with extra special help with your business and a podcast that is free for everyone.

Laurie Ayers (not pictured) is a Speaker, Author, and Consultant.  She is the Associate Director of Defensive Countermeasures Institute, LLC. She specializes in educating people about their personal safety and inspiring them to become their own best protectors.  In her spare time (what spare time?), she is also a independent consultant and Star Director with Scentsy Wickless Candles and owns a website that is a support and information network for candle consultants and those interested in starting a candle business.

These great ladies are all a part of the Mom Masterminds Network that I mentioned above.  The meetup was wonderful and I’m looking forward to the next one.  We are looking at doing them every 6 weeks or so…so, if you want to join us, just let me know!  It’s open to everyone–not just Mom Masterminds members.

Theft Problem – IMPORTANT MESSAGE

You’ve  heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.

My thighs were stolen from me during the  night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else’s thighs.  It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal.  Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out  my life in jeans. And then the thieves struck again.

My butt was next. I  knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I’d have to give up my jeans in favor of long skirts.

Two years  ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was really getting scary – my body was being replaced one section at a time. What could they do to me  next?

When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided  to tell my story. Women of the world, wake up and smell the coffee! Those ‘plastic’ surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts – stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something ‘lifted’, look again – was it lifted from you?

THIS IS NOT A  HOAX. This is  happening to women everywhere every night.

WARN YOUR  FRIENDS!

P. S. Last year I  thought some one had stolen my Boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding  in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.

Thought this was too ‘important’ not to pass on  have a wonderful day – with a joy filled  heart.

These same thieves come in my closet and shrink my clothes! How do they do it????
