It’s been something I’ve wanted to do, but it hasn’t been a huge priority.\u00c2\u00a0 I really do need to get feelings out and deal with them from time to time.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m trying to keep this blog pretty anonymous, so I don’t feel as vulnerable, thus allowing me to release some of the inner feelings.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s interesting that since my last post, my employer eliminated my position, leaving me unemployed since the beginning of this month.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s not like I loved my job…or even my place of employment.\u00c2\u00a0 I mean, I’ve been putting out resumes for well over a year, without success.\u00c2\u00a0 The job market is really, really tough right now.\u00c2\u00a0 So, it’s been a grieving process…mainly for the fact that I feel displaced and betrayed, but also because I am not able to spend time with the friends that I’ve come to know over the years–and with Scott during the day, as well as the money that we’re not getting anymore.<\/p>\n

They did set me up w\/ a career coach for 10 sessions, which has been really, really helpful.\u00c2\u00a0 I have had two really good interviews and have a 2nd interview on Thursday for a job I would really like!\u00c2\u00a0 I’m excited about it!\u00c2\u00a0 I hope it goes well.\u00c2\u00a0 My coach really thinks I’ve got it–hope he’s right!\u00c2\u00a0 I’m also waiting to hear back from Pine Rest and Cornerstone (2 positions there), as well as a few others.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Scott’s been very supportive through all this, but it’s very hard on him too.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s worrying mostly about the money, but he’s also very concerned that I find a place where I’m happy.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s really hard for him to go in now.\u00c2\u00a0 He has to face those people who wronged me every day.\u00c2\u00a0 He can’t wait till I’m in a stable position so he can think about what other options he might have.\u00c2\u00a0 He is still working 50+ hours per week…has been for over 8 months now!\u00c2\u00a0 It’s just rediculous…he’s soooo stressed out!<\/p>\n

The boys are doing great.\u00c2\u00a0 They BOTH made BOTH audition bands for next year.\u00c2\u00a0 Son #1 got first prize in regionals for Fermi Science Olympiad competition!\u00c2\u00a0 It still amazes me that he can figure out those physics problems!\u00c2\u00a0 Both boys walked away with a couple 4th place ribbons, too.<\/p>\n
